How the French 1 worksheets work
A sheet holds twenty problems that run from easy to hard, with a line at the top for the student's name and date. The sheet for “counting to 100, telling your age, phone numbers” is full of numbers to write out and phone numbers to say aloud. The one on “having, needing and feeling with avoir” drills the forms of avoir until they come without thinking, and “eating well: partitive articles and meals” asks the student to choose between du, de la and des on real menus. Because the keys sit together at the back, a student can work alone and then check, and a parent who never studied French can still mark a page in a few minutes. Print one sheet per evening, or hand the whole stack to a substitute teacher. The order matches the French 1 lessons, from “saying hello, introducing yourself and spelling names” to “shopping for clothes with ce, cet, cette, ces”.
