How the French B1 worksheets work

Where lower levels ask for single words, these sheets ask for sentences and short paragraphs. The sheet on “writing a French CV and application” walks you through writing a CV, “complaining in writing, politely and firmly” asks for a firm complaint in the right tone, and “leases, inspections and notice letters” deals with the vocabulary of leases and notice letters. For speaking skills, “giving your opinion and defending it” and “building a balanced argument for and against” give you phrases to build an argument and connectors to place in it. Problems run from easy to hard, from short fill-ins to a longer writing task. The answer key lets you compare your own wording with a reference, not just check single answers. Use the sheets after each lesson chapter, or choose the topic that matches an upcoming interview, move or exam.
