The problems are on the French Possessive Adjectives worksheet. Try them on your own first, then compare with the answers below.

Quick answer: French possessive adjectives agree with the noun that is owned, not with the owner: mon/ma/mes (my), ton/ta/tes (your), son/sa/ses (his, her), notre/nos (our), votre/vos (your) and leur/leurs (their). This answer key corrects the 20 problems of the French 1 worksheet on possessive adjectives, from match the family words to guided writing: my family: the final answer in bold, the rule behind it, and a model answer for each writing task.

Here is the answer key of the French 1 worksheet on possessive adjectives. Try the worksheet first, then compare, and reread the lesson if a rule is unclear.

Check each answer and read the explanation. Most errors come from choosing the possessive by the owner’s gender instead of the noun, or from using ma before a vowel. Mark the error type, correct it in a different color, and repeat the problem one day later.
