Mastering the Simulated Conversation – AP French worksheet with Zoé, the Français PDF coach

Quick answer: The AP simulated conversation is a recorded exchange in which you read an outline, then respond to five spoken turns, about 20 seconds each. For AP French students practising conversation, this worksheet gives 20 problems from easy to hard: choose the register, match the filler and complete the turn. The answer key is on a separate page, and the worksheet is a free printable PDF.

These 20 problems train the AP Interpersonal Speaking conversation: choosing the right register, using fillers, building complete 20-second turns and recovering from missing words. Write the answers as scripts, then say them aloud with a timer.
