Watch out with vouloir

Use avoir

In compound tenses vouloir takes avoir (j’ai voulu). The participle voulu agrees only with a direct object placed before the verb.

Irregular stems

Learn the stems, not the endings: the present is je veux / nous voulons / ils veulent, and the future and conditional use voudr- (je voudrai, je voudrais).
